Privacy Policy

File processing

All file processing on Safely.Tools happens entirely within your web browser. Your files are never uploaded to any server. We do not have access to your files, and we cannot see, store, or process them in any way. This is by design — there is no backend infrastructure that handles user files.

You can verify this yourself: open your browser's Developer Tools (F12), go to the Network tab, and use any tool. You will see zero requests containing your file data. The only network requests are for loading the page itself.

What we do collect

We collect anonymous, aggregate usage data to understand which tools are popular and improve the site. This data contains no personal information and cannot be tied back to you. Here's exactly what we send:

That's it. No IP address stored, no session ID, no cookies, no user identifier of any kind. We know “someone used Compress PDF” — not who.

What we do not collect

• Your files or any content within them
• Your IP address (not stored or logged by our application)
• Cookies or tracking identifiers
• Browser fingerprints
• Personal information of any kind
• Anything that could identify you as an individual

Local browser storage

Safely.Tools stores a small amount of data in your browser's local storage to power the "Recently Used" feature on the homepage. This data (tool names and file names you've processed) never leaves your browser and is not sent to any server. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser data for this site.

Data collection — what we don't do

Safely.Tools does not use cookies, does not require accounts, and does not track users across the web. We do not use any third-party analytics services (no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no Hotjar, nothing).

AI and machine learning

Your files are never used to train artificial intelligence models, machine learning systems, or any other automated systems. Since your files never leave your device, it is technically impossible for us to use them for any purpose.

Third-party services

Safely.Tools is served as a static website via Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process standard web server access logs (IP address, page requested, timestamp) as part of its CDN infrastructure. These are controlled by Cloudflare's privacy policy, not ours. We do not access individual log entries.

We load the Inter font from Google Fonts. Google's font CDN does not set cookies and Google states that font requests are not used for tracking. No other third-party services are loaded.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy, we will update this page. Our commitment to privacy-first, client-side-only processing will not change.
