How to use Add Subtitles

  1. 1
Select your video file — Drag and drop your video file into the upload area, or click to browse. The file stays on your device.
  2. 2
Configure and process — Adjust any settings, then click to process. The video is converted using WebAssembly directly in your browser — nothing is uploaded.
  3. 3
Download the result — Download your converted video file. It was processed entirely on your device.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a file size limit?
There's no server-imposed limit since everything runs on your device. The practical limit depends on your browser's available memory — most files up to a few hundred MB work fine.
Why does processing take a while?
Video and audio processing uses FFmpeg compiled to WebAssembly, which runs in your browser. It's slower than a native app but means your files never leave your device. Larger files and higher resolutions take longer.
